Our no-cost “Sight Unseen” service is designed to assist cattlemen who can’t make it to our sale. This service allows you to purchase a Judd Ranch bull or female sight unseen and be guaranteed that you will like the purchase – or the bull and/or female will be returned to us and your money cheerfully refunded.
To take advantage of this free service, you simply call Roger Gatz of Cattlemen’s Connection toll-free at 1-800-743-0026 or call Dave Judd of Judd Ranch at (785) 566-3770. Dave or Roger will ask you about your cowherd and management and inquire about what the animals listed in the sale catalog have caught your interest. Your contact will relay their insight about each animal and then ask you to designate which animal or animals are your final picks. You will then be asked to specify a maximum price for each animal and/or give a total dollar figure for several animals. Come sale day, we will handle the bidding for you.
And, we will make every effort to get your designated animals for less than your maximum dollar. That’s right. If we can make your purchase for less than your stated top dollar, we will. (And this has occurred many times at a Judd Ranch sale.)
When your bull arrives at your place, your satisfaction is guaranteed – or your bull is returned to Judd Ranch and your money is cheerfully refunded. This service has been used by about 25% of all buyers, and no buyer has returned an animal to date.
Quality Assurance Guarantee
Another service provided by Judd Ranch is its Quality Assurance Guarantee. This program says, as a first-time buyer, you will either like the sale offering or your travel expense will be returned. The only criteria is that you call and talk directly with either Dave Judd of Judd Ranch or Roger Gatz of Cattlemen’s Connection about the sale offering prior to coming to the sale.
Dave or Roger will ask questions about your cowherd and the type of bulls/females that you want. They’ll look over the sale catalog and decide if they think one or more animals offered in the sale will fit your program and needs. If the answer is “yes” and you travel to Judd Ranch’s Annual Bull Sale or COW POWER female sale and do not find the animals to fit the descriptions shared by Dave or Roger, you’re covered by the Quality Assurance Guarantee. To date, not one person has requested reimbursement of his/her travel expenses.
- Richard Miller of Orange, Texas, started using the Sight Unseen Program several years ago and continues to use it every year he wants a bull. “I’m always too busy at sale time.
